About Me
Rather than spending the next decade re-learning the the newest technologies of the day over and over again every few years, I've decided to dedicate myself to continued development and support of Classic ASP driven websites, and other Visual Basic based technolgies.
After spending several years as a "jack of all trades", I've realized that specialization is just easier and more profitable in the long run.
Of course it is for certain that as time goes by, technologies will eventually phase-out as newer and better stuff becomes available. There is no avoiding the inevitable reality that I will one day need to move on to something else. But for now, I'm comfortable specializing in this one.
As long as my clients have a means of remote accessing their server by Remote Desktop, VNC, or FTP, I can work for nearly any client within the United States looking for a contractor or consultant with the right skills and enthusiasm.
I'm not in India or China, nor do I just re-outsource the work to other such companies; I do all my own work out of my office in Houston, TX.

My Proudest Moment
The day I graduated from college. It was an uphill battle with lots of overtime studying, challengning professors, invested time and effort. It was not a party school. I finished ahead of many of my fellow students, and took pride in the fact that there wasn't a single trick-question, bell curve, project-load, or other such hurdle that I couldn't handle. It wasn't anything like the public education system I was in when growing up --- I really earned that degree.
